This Privacy Policy explains how Image Viewer (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our browser extension, mobile app, and this website (together, the “Service”). Image Viewer is a tool that lets you collect, organize, and read your own visual content across your devices.

Information we collect

• Account information. You sign in with Google or Apple. We receive a basic profile — typically your name or display name, email address, and a provider account identifier. We do not use passwords and never receive your Google or Apple password.
• Content you collect. When you save visual content, we store the metadata you create — series and page titles, descriptions, your organization, reading status, and the source links (URLs) to images. We do not host or store the image files themselves; images are loaded directly from their original source when you view them.
• Reading activity. To provide progress sync, history, and statistics, we store reading progress, a timestamped history of what you read, and derived reading statistics tied to your account.
• Subscription information. Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or our payment processor. We receive transaction and subscription-status information (such as tier, renewal, and validity) so we can unlock features. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.
• Device & notification tokens. If you enable notifications, we store a push token so we can alert you about new content in series you follow.
• Technical logs. Our servers process standard request data (such as IP address and timestamps) to operate and secure the Service.

How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and sync your library across your devices.
• Authenticate you and manage your subscription and access.
• Send notifications you have opted into (for example, new-content alerts for series you follow).
• Operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service.
• Comply with legal obligations.

Sharing links

You can create a private share link for a series. Anyone who has the link can view that series and save a copy to their own library. Share links are unguessable and are not listed, indexed, or browsable by us or others. You can turn a share link off at any time from the app, which stops new views; copies others already saved are their own separate data.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us run the Service, and only as needed:

• Cloud hosting & database — to store your account and library data.
• Identity providers (Google, Apple) — for sign-in.
• Payment & app stores (Apple, and/or our payment processor) — to process and validate subscriptions.
• Push notification services (Apple Push Notification service) — to deliver notifications.
• Legal — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account from the app; when you do, we delete your library and associated personal data, and we revoke the sign-in token issued to us by your identity provider. Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, or accounting purposes.

Your choices

• Access, update, or delete your data by using the app or contacting us.
• Turn notifications on or off in your device or app settings.
• Turn any share link off at any time.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

International users

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
